Villa Kallisto is situated in the traditional, unspoilt village of Pessada, on the Greek Island of Kefalonia (also known as Cephalonia). Set on the south coast of the island, it’s just a 15 to 20 minute drive from the airport. The entire area is surrounded by natural beauty, with spectacular views of Mount Ainos and breathtaking sea views of the island of Zante (also known as Zakynthos).
Should you grow tired of relaxing in the villa and its immediate area, there’s plenty to do further afield. In only ten minutes you can walk to the town of Pessada and its delightful taverns or reach the harbour and picturesque sandy beaches of Pessada.
The monastery of Saint Gerasimos with its amazing interior is a 15 minute drive from the villa, and it’s worth a trip to the Mellisani lake and the Drogorati Cave, a 30 minute drive away, as well as Saint George’s Castle – a ten minute drive from the villa.
